care ministries
Care ministry is a vitally important part of church life. John Maxwell said, "People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care". The Care Ministry at LBC exists to "pay careful attention to the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made us overseers, to care for the church of God" (Acts 20:28).
Grieving God's Way
RegisterGrieving God’s Way is a group that offers the opportunity to process the death of a loved one with others who are dealing with the same stages of grief. This group meets weekly on Tuesdays at 1:30pm in the LBC library to support and encourage grieving people with God’s word in a small group setting.
Truth Ministry
Truth Ministry is a substance recovery group for Men and Women. It is a safe and supportive community that combines accountability with the wisdom of scripture. Here you will learn how to find and maintain sobriety, dive deep into the teachings of Christ, and learn to apply them to your daily life. The Bible tells us in John 8:32 that “you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Chaplains
Join Our Chaplain MinistryLBC is happy to visit those who are in hospitals, rehabs, adult care facilities, and those who are homebound. We offer visiting chaplains, lay ministers, and pastors to visit. If you’d like us to visit a loved one at home or in a facility, we would be honored to do so.
Do you have a compassionate heart and a merciful spirit? How would you feel about God using you to encourage and support someone in need of His healing touch? Chaplains have the unspeakable privilege of walking with God’s people through their most vulnerable, most devastating, and most painful moments. If you are looking for a powerful and meaningful way to live for Christ’s kingdom, please consider joining our chaplain ministry.
