BUILDING CAMPAIGN

ABOUT THE BUILDING CAMPAIGN

For more than 44 years, Laurelglen Bible Church has served as a light to our community, growing in our faith and joyfully sharing the gospel. Along the way, the Lord has thankfully increased our numbers and we have now outgrown our current campus.

Not surprisingly, God is providing and has laid a path before us. We have received the incredible gift of ten acres of donated land on South Allen Road. At more than twice the size of our current campus, we can build spaces that meet our ministries’ needs and we’re equally excited about the prospect of sharing the gospel in a new neighborhood. We believe God is calling us to trust Him as He once again moves LBC to the edge of town. As we move out of Laurelglen, we will become Lighthouse Bible Church, a place where our church family, joined by new families, can come together, continue to grow, and be a light to the world around us.

Carry the light together.

Our goal is for everyone at LBC to join together to fulfill God’s vision for our church. Whether this means an increase in your financial giving, maintaining your current giving, or a dedication to praying, please fill out a Commitment Card to show that you are onboard for the future of our church family. Taking this journey together is exciting, and we are humbled by how God has led us to this point. We pray you will experience the joy and privilege of participating as one family to see God use LBC to faithfully do His work.

FAQS

WHERE IS THE NEW CAMPUS?

It is just south of White Lane on the northeast corner of South Allen Road and Muirlands Parkway.

HOW LONG UNTIL WE MOVE?

Lord willing, we will start construction in the spring of 2026 and we hope to move around August of 2027.

HOW BIG WILL THE NEW CHURCH BE?

We have been given ten acres of land (compared to our current four). Our worship center will hold 1,200 people. And no more parking around the block, with ample parking for everyone!

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO OUR CURRENT PROPERTY?

Our hope is that a smaller, growing church will buy our current site and make it their home so the neighborhood will still have a church. If that’s not possible, we will consider other buyers.

HAVE WE RAISED ENOUGH MONEY?

Between funds received and funds committed by our LBC family to be given over these two years, we have not yet reached our goal. If you have not yet submitted a commitment card, doing so may help us reach our goal and start building sooner!

gET MORE OF THE STORY!

To learn more about our relocation, listen to a two-part LBC Podcast episode called “Faith and Relocation,” where John Harrell talks with Pastor Eric and Pastor Chris to hear how God has moved mountains to lead us where we are as a church today.
